Biofinity® Multifocal contact lenses are made from a high performance silicone hydrogel material that uses the proprietary Aquaform™ technology. This results in lenses that are more wettable and more comfortable and provide the wearer with a soft and moist lens all day. Biofinity® Multifocal lenses deliver oxygen to the cornea using the combined high oxygen transmission properties of silicone hydrogel with those of water. The presence of a higher water environment within the lens makes Biofinity® Multifocal more resistant to dehydration and surface deposits. The lens is designed to be worn as a monthly lens (which still means that you take the lenses out each night). Be sure to follow your prescribing eye care provider’s recommended replacement schedule.

Written By: Mario Was this review useful?: Yes \| No	Wonderful lenses I had never really understood the meaning of multifocal but now I do. Our eyes constantly focus on different objects at different distances but they do that without us realizing. The net result is that we see objects clearly and take it for granted. That is what the Biofinity multifocal lenses can do. With these lenses the natural action of focusing on various objects happens with great clarity and comfort. I am not sure if all lenses are like this but this lens works wonderfully for me. No more glasses or reading glasses for me.

Written By: Edgar Was this review useful?: Yes \| No	Each eye has a job When my optometrist started to test for my dominant and non-dominant eye I started to wonder what gimmick I was looking to get fitted. I had never heard of such tests in order to try out a bifocal lens. In fact the optometrist explained that the lenses are actually equipped with a new high tech design that fine tunes vision based on the needs of each eye. So each eye does what they do best and together they make a great vision team resulting in excellent multifocal vision.

Written By: Paul Was this review useful?: Yes \| No	Better than bifocals Biofinity contact lenses are quite an improvement over my early bifocal lenses. With those it was a little tricky. The conditions had to be perfect. Lighting, humidity, time of day and fit of the replacement lenses all had to align otherwise the lenses moved too much and I would get a blurr in vision for reading. With the Biofinity lenses I don’t even think of the lenses as I go along during my day. I just see whatever I need to see. Comfort wise there is no issue either.

Written By: Diego Was this review useful?: Yes \| No	Why half eyes After many years of procrastination I decided to ask my eye doctor for bifocal contacts. I have been wearing lenses for many years but I used my half eyes when really necessary. The problem is that it is now a lot of trouble to carry the half eyes everywhere I go. Biofinity multifocal is actually even better than I thought because it allows me to see far, near and in between which I didn’t think was possible other than with glasses. On top of that I can wear these lenses all day or many days in a row and no problem.
