On October 3rd, 2005, CIBA Vision launched their new Focus Dailies with
AquaRelease. Based on the same polymer material (nelfilcon A) and available in
the same parameters, this new version of the Focus Dailies adds a time released
ocular lubricant, PVA, commonly used in comfort eye drops. The AquaRelease
moisturizing agent is blink-activated and is gradually released from the Focus
Dailies lens into the tear film.
Designed to be worn as a daily disposable lens which means you take the lenses
out each night and replace it with a fresh lens each morning. Be sure to follow
your prescribing eyecare provider’s recommended replacement schedule. These
lenses are tinted for ease of handling and will not change the color of your
eye. The tint is simply designed to facilitate locating the contact lenses in
solution.
