Biomedics® 55 contact lenses are designed to be worn as a 1-2 week daily wear lens, which means you take the lenses out each night and replace with a new lens on a 1-2 week basis. Be sure to follow your prescribing eye care provider’s recommended replacement schedule.

I figured that they wouldn’t steer me wrong so I went to their optometrist and tried the lenses. Since I was wearing the Optima from a competitor I felt that the Biomedics lens was thinner and more comfortable right off. Vision was pretty similar but I decided to go with the improved comfort. Also whether it is winter or summer the lens is as comfortable.

I have tried Soflens and O2 Optix lenses in the past but always came back to my Biomedics. They are easy to use, clean and maintain. Wearing them for a month at a time keeps me using fresh lenses on a regular basis and making sure that my eyes remain healthy with lenses. My vision is super with them and I never feel the edge of the lens like I felt with the other lenses.

They were easy to handle and to put on. Once on I could never feel them and I often wondered if they were on. Obviously my vision was excellent so I knew that I was wearing them. Even though newer lenses are out there I don’t need to change.

Written By: Jacob Was this review useful?: Yes \| No	Very adaptable Nothing beats my Biomedics 55 contacts. I have been wearing these lenses for about 15 years with no complaints. They are dependable, comfortable and very adaptable to the conditions in which I work. With carpeting and forced air ventilation systems many of my colleagues complain of dryness but I don’t feel anything of the sort. My optometrist has me on a two week schedule and so I put on fresh ones very regularly and have never had a problem.
