Silicon Hydrogel Contact Lenses
Silicone Hydrogel lenses are manufactured using a combination of hydrogel and silicone materials bound together. The combination of the two materials results in a silicone hydrogel lens that is at least 6 times more permeable to oxygen, a characteristic that is vital to the well being of the cornea. Surface modifications brought about by the application of special wetting molecules render this silicone hydrogel material more flexible, moist and resistant to dehydration. As with all other lens products it is important to follow your eye care practitioner's recommended wearing regimen and to ensure that you replace your lenses as advised in that regimen
